Genre favorites set to release new albums

Fall brings colorful leaves, pumpkin-flavored everything and this year, new music from some of the best musicians and groups in every genre.  Scroll down to check out the new albums (organized in the order of their release date.)

The new R&B artist, Tinashe is putting out her debut album Aquarius on October 7. The album includes awesome tracks “2 On” and “Pretend.” The album also includes featured rappers such as Schoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky, and Future.

The country duo, Florida Georgia Line, is releasing their second country album titled Anything Goes. The country-pop album includes the two hit singles “Dirt” and “Sun Daze.” Anything Goes will be released on October 14.

Taylor Swift is finally letting go of her country roots and switching over to pop. 1989 is her first pop album. Her new single “Shake It Off” has been #1 on both radio and iTunes charts. The new songs include her high profiled relationship with Harry Styles, celebrity rivals, and friendship. 1989 comes out on October 27.

Nick Jonas is back with his brand new self-titled solo album, Nick Jonas. The new album will have feature collaborations with Mike Posner, Angel Haze, and Demi Lovato. Nick has also announced tour dates for the new tour. Nick Jonas comes out on November 11.

Pop’s biggest boy band, One Direction, is releasing their 4th album, FOUR, on November 17. The album title represents the number of years that that the band has been together. The first single off the new album “Steal My Girl” dropped on September 29. This album is supposed to be more edgy and mature compared to their previous album, Midnight Memories. Make sure to get your copy of FOUR on November 17!

The X Factor USA girl-group, Fifth Harmony, is releasing their debut album ReflectionReflection is a stepping stone from their EP they released last year titled Better Together. The members of the group have stated the album is more “mature” and “less pop, more rhythmic and laidback.” The album drops in December 2014.
