I think the YouTube community is becoming more and more popular. With it becoming more accessible nowadays with it on our laptops, and even on our phones, being a Youtuber is an up and coming career. Some people do not consider it a job, but with the hours they put in coming up with video ideas, filming, editing and uploading, it can become a lot of work fast. Most successful YouTubers do not only film videos for online. A lot of them have other projects such as their own beauty line, clothes, music, movies, and charity projects (Tyler Oakley raised over $500,000 for the Trevor Project for his birthday!). I believe most of them are valuable role models in today’s society. Now if only people would give them the credit they deserve. #TeamInternet

I am actually very excited to see this short list. YouTube is a great way for people to express themselves. It also shows us that any ordinary person can make a difference whether it be by making someone laugh or showing girls that they can be creative.

This looks like a good list! I think that it’s great that YouTube has given a way for extraordinarily talented people to become famous, even if they don’t have connections or an agent.

Youtube has become such a big industry! Bethany Mota has a clothing line at Aeropostale and is currently on Dancing with the Stars and her fame all started on her Youtube channel that she made in the mid-2000’s when she was in high school. Youtube is opening up so many opportunities for the people who make videos and it’s absolutely incredible because no one would have thought there would be so many possibilities out there.
