Not Joe’s is the place to go (Review)
Not Joe’s is a Southwestern Style Grille that first opened in November 15, 2014. Not Joe’s is a local family-owned/run business that is operated by Heather and Christopher Farrisi.
The father/daughter duo wanted to offer a US-based business and so Not Joe’s was born. All of the ingredients used in the food are locally grown and produced, and their drinks are even made with pure cane sugar!
Not Joe’s menu has many things to offer. For appetizers or Fired Up Firsts, they offer southwest seasoned fries, cheese fries, cactus onion petals, chips and salsa, and other southwestern-themed foods.
The main course is made to the customers liking and is called BYO or “Build Your Own.” With this feature, the customer can customize their order how ever they want. The BYO items that are offered are Not Joes Nachos, burritos, burrito bowls/salads, enchiladas, quesadillas, burgers, and much more. For dessert, churros , sopapilla, and cake are offered! A kids menu is also available for the younger Not Joe’s customers.
Senior Dannah Rolar is an employee at Not Joe’s and she said,” I love working here and the food is pretty darn good too!”
The one con of Not Joe’s is the price, as it’s a little on the pricey side. The cheapest BYO item is $6.99 and with the purchase of a drink and extra stuff, the price can add up quickly.
That being said, Not Joe’s has really great food and the décor inside is very sleek and modern due to the touch screen ordering feature. It is definitely worth a try.
If you want to visit Not Joe’s it is located at 800 East High Street , inside the Carlisle Plaza next to Lowe’s.
