After months of preparation, and hours of getting ready, the A list celebrities were glamorous. On February 23, 2025, these prestigious household names rolled into the annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG).They were televised for the 31st time on Netflix in Los Angeles, California. The SAG awards affect the Oscar race and show who the big winners will most likely be. There are 13 total awards for television and films, unlike the Oscars which have more awards for costume design and best song. The awards were founded in 1995, honoring outstanding performances in movies and television. The awards were hosted by actress Kristen Bell. During the night, Bell reunited with her previous co-star Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl to seemingly pass the torch to a future Gossip girl by doing what they do best, gossiping! When opening the show, Bell also sang a Frozen-inspired song called “Do you want to be an actor?” as a parody to her famous song “Do you want to build a snowman?” in the 2013 original film.
