The Cinderella Shop to reopen
The Cinderella Shop is back this year after a great turn out last year.
The people who had started this idea were Swartz counselor, Johanna Jones, and secretary Betsy Richwine. It was made for students who had trouble finding a dress.
Last year, 30 girls went to the shop and 19 walked away with dresses they like. The best part of it all was that each dress is completely free!
Students can take the advantage of the Shop this year by going to the counseling center in the Swartz building on Oct 2 and 3 from 3-6 pm.
Check back later this week to learn more about this year’s Shop successes!

I really do love how our school has the Cinderella shop. Not everyone can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress you wear just for one night. It’s great how they have cute dresses there and got for free. It is also good because there is such a variety of dresses that you could really find one that you like.

I think the idea of the Cinderella shop is such an amazing idea. I think our school is the only school who offers such an amazing program. For girls to be able to find a dress they love for free is unexplainable. I’d rather do that than go pay hundreds of dollars any day.

This is such a great thing that the school has to offer. If I went to dances, I would definitely try going here first because finding a nice affordable dress is HARD. It is like thrifting at school!

I LOVE the idea behind the Cinderella Shop! It provides a great opportunity for girls to go to homecoming in a dress they feel good in. Thanks to all who are involved in making it happen!
