On Your Ballot- Pennsylvania Governor
State governors serve four year terms, just like the Presidency. The governor may serve any number of terms but they may not serve more than two in a row. Tom Wolf (D), Pennsylvania’s current governor, has served for the past eight years, making him ineligible to be re-elected this year. State governors are responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the operation of the state executive branch. State governors do not control national / federal laws.
