While everyone is getting back into the groove of the school year, CHS is kicking it off with a gig, the 2023-24 Homecoming.
The dance will be held on Saturday October 7, similar to other years will remain in both the Swartz gym and cafeteria, from 7-10pm accompanied by the groovy theme of Disco.
All current CHS students are welcome to come, along with any pre-approved out of district guests. Tickets are available for purchase during all lunches, in both Swartz and McGowan, through the week of October 2nd-October 6th, for $15 each.
This week leading up to the Homecoming dance is of course joined to spirit days and after school events.

“Dress like you’re on a break at the farm or heading to the country club for a weekend of golfing.”
Tuesday: To the Future followed by a Wingin It @7pm
“Dress like your future Career.”
Wednesday: Barbenheimer along with the Powder Puff game at night
“ Rep Barbie by dressing as her, Ken, or in pink! Rep Oppenheimer by dressing in black, gray, and turtlenecks!”
Thursday: 70’s Day (Powder Puff rain date)

Friday: Class Colors with a Pep Rally in the afternoon (Bison Block) and of course the HOCO football game vs. State College
“Wear your grades’ color on Friday in order to gain spirit points for your class,” as advertised by @chsperiscope on Instagram.
Students are able to receive spirit points for their grade by dressing out for the themes and posting them Instagram stories, tagging @carlisle_stuco with the hashtag #chsclassclash along with the hashtag of your appropriate grade (#freshman, #senior, ect).
2023’s Homecoming court consists of Addysen Fitzgerald, Bella Koontz, Camryn Nelson, Elena Rasmussen, Jillian Witman and Maia Iannuzzi. Homecoming Queen will be announced during the Friday night football game.
Periscope interviewed all of the HOCO court nominees with one consistent question, “What do you admire most about your fellow Homecoming court members?”
“Everyone is very kind to each other, everyone’s supportive, and no one really cares who wins. We’re just like there for eachother and everyone’s super excited,” said Jillian Witman.
So, who’s ready to get down with CHS for this school bash?

It’s worth mentioning that “Disco Inferno” translates from Latin to “I learn through suffering”.
