Badgers versus Blue Devils: Who will be victorious?
UPDATE: The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Wisconsin Badgers (68-63) becoming 2015 National Champion
This year’s NCAA March Madness Tournament has been a total and utter shock to experts and to the average person who fills out brackets.
The Round of 64 was a very crazy round. In the Midwest portion of the bracket, 1 seed Kentucky continued their dominance by beating 16 seed Hampton (79-56). 8 seed Cincinnati beat 9 seed Purdue (66-65). Cincinnati player Coreontae DeBerry scored 13 points for his club. A.J. Hammons scored 17 points for Purdue. 4 seed Maryland escaped with a victory over 13 seed Valparaiso (65-62). Maryland Player Dez Wells scored 14 points for his club. Alec Peters playing for Valparaiso scored 18 points respectively. 3 seed Notre Dame barely escaped 14 seed Northeastern (69-65).
In the West portion of the Round of 64, 5 seed Arkansas escaped 12 seed Wofford (56-53). Wofford had the lead at halftime but could not hold on. Spencer Collins scored 16 points for the Wofford Terriers. Michael Qualls scored 20 points the Arkansas Razorbacks. 4 seed North Carolina defeated 13 seed Harvard (67-65). Harvard was down by 11 points at half, but stormed back and only lost by 2 points. Justin Jackson scored 14 points for the Tar Heels. Wesley Saunders for the Harvard Crimson scored 26 points. Arguably the biggest upset of the tournament so far was 14 seed Georgia State beating 3 seed Baylor (57-56). R.J. Hunter for Georgia State had the best shot in the tournament this far. Georgia State was down by 1 with a little over 10 seconds remaining. Hunter drove the ball up the court, passed it off, and got it back. He shot up at long 3 and made it giving Baylor 2.8 seconds to win. Taurean Prince scored 18 points for Baylor.
In the South portion of the Round of 64 there were plenty of great games. 8 seed North Carolina State beat 9 seed LSU (66-65). 4 seed Louisville barely escaped 13 seed UC Irvine (57-55). Louisville player Quentin Snider scored 16 points. UC Irvine player Mamadou N’Diaye the tallest player in the NCAA standing at 7 ft. 6 in. scored 12 points.
In the East portion of the Round of 64 was a solid round. 6 seed SMU was upset by 11 seed UCLA. Nic Moore played all 40 minutes for SMU scoring 24 points. Bryce Alford scored 27 points for UCLA in 39 minutes. 14 seed UAB surprised everyone by beating 3 seed Iowa State. Robert Brown for UAB had 21 points. Iowa State player Jameel McKay scored 10 points in 37 minutes.
Action in the Round of 32 included: 1 seed Kentucky defeated 8 seed Cincinnati (67-64), and 1 seed Villanova got upset by 8 seed North Carolina State (71-68).
Action in the Sweet 16 included: 1 seed Kentucky demolishing 5 seed West Virginia (78-39), 3 seed Oklahoma got upset by 7 seed Michigan State (62-58), and 1 seed Duke got past 5 seed Utah (63-57).
Action in the Elite 8 included: 1 seed Kentucky barely escaping 3 seed Notre Dame (68-66), 1 seed Wisconsin beating 2 seed Arizona (85-78), 7 seed Michigan State upset 4 seed Louisville (76-70), and 1 seed Duke destroying 2 seed Gonzaga (66-52).
In the Final Four 1 seed Wisconsin took away 1 seed Kentucky’s bid for perfection (71-64), and 1 seed Duke demolished 7 seed Michigan State (81-61).
In the National Championship Game it comes down to 1 seed Wisconsin versus 1 seed Duke. Tip off on Monday April 6 at 9:18 p.m.

This is a very detailed and statistical article. It let me know where teams stood at that time and certain key stats from teams and their players.
