REACH to present 10th anniversary performance
Updated 9/24/15 at 3:29pm
On Saturday, Sept 26, the Carlisle community dance program “REACH” will host their tenth year anniversary performance.
According to their website, REACH said they are a visual and education organization, promoting a healthy lifestyle while gaining valuable/relevant life skills.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. at Hotel Carlisle in the Embers Convention Center, located at 1700 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, PA 17013.
The event is titled “Fusion 98” and it is going to be “our biggest performance to date!” said current dancer and CHS senior Darius Brown.
Brown is very excited.
“A lot of work has gone into this event; countless hours of everyone’s time has been put into this for over a year,” said Brown. “We have a lot of new songs and dances that are made by us, and it will definitely be an event to remember. I think everyone should be there.”
The team has been working very hard for this night to come. Saturday’s show will include live performances, original choreography, celebrity guests, and much more.
Chris Brown, brother of Darius Brown and fellow member of the group said that they will be showcasing a new REACH clothing line.
Out of all the aspects of this event, the best part, according to the group members, is having family and friends come out to support them.
“It’s really cool to have something so big and so positive to come out of our own town,” Darius Brown said.
Everyone is really pumped about this special occasion. Tickets are on sale now so go out and support all the hard work this crew has put into this fun filled evening!

REACH is actually not a Carlilse High School Program. It is a non profit outreach group founded and co-owned by Jason Reed and Jordan Coulson of Carlisle. Although REACH does hold events at the High School sometimes, it is not directly affiliated with the high school and is not a school program. It is independently owned and run in the community.

It’s absolutely amazing to know that Carlisle High School is creating such a positive contribution to the community, especially something that has been around for 10 years. It is really nice to know that the High School can have a great impact that will help make our community brighter with something such as this.
