January Athlete of the Month: Logan Huff
Junior Logan Huff can be found after school on the wrestling mat leading CHS wrestlers to victory. We caught up with him to reflect on the season.
Q1: How long have you been wrestling?
A1: This will be my 11th year wrestling.
Q2: How do you display leadership on and off the mat?
A2: I display leadership by being responsible and encouraging my teammates to work harder and strive to do their best in the classroom and on the mat.
Q3: What is your role on the team?
A3: As one of the captains, I need to keep the team on track and be a leader at all times.
Q4: What inspires you to work hard and excel at this sport specifically?
A4: I have always striven to be the best I could. I have always wanted to go to States and that is what keeps me wrestling hard.
Q5: At this point, do you have any future plans or hopes for your future in wrestling?
A5: I would really like to wrestle in college because it is a fun sport. I would like for maybe my kids to wrestle and possibly become a coach one day.
Q6: Looking back on your time here at CHS, what memories will you take with you into the future?
A6: I will remember all the fun times I had with my teammates, the hard hard work that me and my friends put into on and off the mat.
