Claire Whalen, Sports Writer
Claire Whalen is currently a senior at Carlisle High School and is a writer for the sports section for Periscope. Her love for writing began when she was around the age of twelve and began writing songs on her guitar. You might recognize her from her performances in Coffeehouse. Claire has played many sports in her life. She has played softball since the 4th grade. Some of the other sports that she has participated in are, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, track, and cheerleading. After high school she will be studying to be a Physician Assistant.
