Do you ever want to decorate your house to look more “Halloween-y” but never want to spend enormous amounts of money and time to decorate? Well then, here are five easy and cheap ways to decorate your house to look ready for this year’s Halloween.
Mason Jar Mummy
First you would need a Mason Jar, dollar store gauze and googly eyes (if you want a scarier decoration, make your own scary eyes).
- Apply some glue around the mason jar
- Wrap the gauze around the mason jar (the you want it to look like a mummy)
- Then attach the 2 googly eyes on top of the gauze
- Lastly put a candle in the mason jar
And Voila! Now you have a cute mummy looking decoration.
Spooky Eyes
First you would need empty toilet paper rolls, and glow sticks
- Cut out two “eye” holes into your toilet paper roll. Make them as scary as you want.
- Stick the glow sticks in at night
Now you can put this in your trees or bushes around your house which allows you to have little eyes staring at anyone who passes your house.

I really like these ideas. I have some younger brothers at home that some of these crafts would be great to do with them! I definitely will bring up the topic at home and see what they think. Thanks for the Halloween décor ideas!.
