The fun never stops: schedule of senior events
With finals, laptop return, banquets, graduation, as well as several other events just around the corner, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the chaos. Here is the schedule for seniors for the few remaining days.
May 17th
- All Sports Banquet, 5:30pm at the Letort View Community Center.
May 23rd & May 24th
- Senior finals, full day of school, regular schedule as well as laptop return.
May 25th
- Senior finals, early dismissal for seniors at 1:00pm as well as laptop return.
- Honors Banquet at the Dickinson HUB at 5:30pm
May 26th
- MANDATORY Senior Meeting at 10:00am with cap and gown distribution (all obligations must be paid to receive cap and gown). Renaissance rehearsal, senior walk*, and the senior celebration follow the meeting.
*New this year, the seniors will parade through the halls of CHS, adorned in gap and gown, so that the school can all wish them well. Time to be determined.
May 29th
- NO SCHOOL (all students)
May 30th
- Senior class trip to New York City with a 5:15am departure.
May 31st
- Renaissance rehearsal (performers only) at 12:00 noon in the McGowan Auditorium.
- MANDATORY Renaissance Program: arrive by 5:45pm in the McGowan Gym; program starts at 7:00pm.
June 1st
- MANDATORY outdoor commencement rehearsal at 8:45am in the Millen Stadium.
- Commencement is MANDATORY at 7:00pm in the Millen Stadium or Heiges Field House at Shippensburg University if it rains.
Notes:
- Dress code still applies to all senior events.
Graduation dress requirements:
- Ladies: dress, skirt, dress slacks or capris with low heeled shoes or flats
- Gentlemen: dark dress pants, collared shirt and tie with dark dress shoes
- Flip flips, house shoes, sneakers, and boots are NOT permitted
- Graduation regalia may NOT be decorated with any personal items
- All graduation gowns will be dark green and provided by the school district as well as a cap and tassel.

This was very useful because I had no clue what the schedule was! I can’t believe we are graduating!
